The Kelsall career began with racers designed for foam sandwich construction. For several years the racers outnumbered the cruisers. 1966 Toria set the style for the racing trimarans to come.

There is a long list of names elsewhere on the site, but will mention here a couple of the big ones. The largest of their style when launched were GB II (mono), GB III and William Saurin at 78, 80 and 93 feet respectively. It took about ten years but the materials and the methods that we used for Toria were adopted for the majority of professionally built racers.
